      Benefits; comparable pay, bonuses, and stock options.

      Cons

      In some business groups, they lack true teamwork and inclusion. Worker bees (experts due to being in role for 15+ years) are territorial, do not work as a team player, does not take time to train others and are praised like little gods. Turnover not evaluated as long as the little god remains in the group who is the reason for the turnover.

      Plenty to learn from tactical exercises and ad-hoc requests. If you can manage priorities effectively in this role, you can succeed in many other roles in business operations.

      Cons

      Noticeable knowledge gaps among MPMs. It's a job that asks you to follow existing processes rather than think outside the box and be creative.
