      Applied makes great products, market dominate player. standards benefits.

      Cons

      I saw my coworker dies! It is true! heart attack! stressful, hard work, 2nd shift, night shift, tool time is expensive; human time is cheap. Semiconductor industry is shifting to Asia, low pay, it is a river of no return. Do you want to compete with low pay competitors? Do you want to work with dangerous chemicals? Applied is the place.

      Need more time to form opinion, just converted from contractor to direct. Was able to make big impact by solving difficult field problems.

      Need more time to form an opinion, just converted from contractor to direct. Need to update documentation system and quality reporting system. Many problems remain hidden due to complex nature of semiconductor tool and way to search different FRU's for common errors
