Toxic culture with appalling response to reviews

Pros

- The company was an amazing place to work before the new executive suite came in and padded themselves with HUGE bonuses after 6 months of doing nothing, while hypocritically refusing raises to employees that were at the company for less than a year. - Talented coworkers, but they are leaving in droves due to new mismanagement. - Product is good, but no hope for it once all the talent leaves because the executives do not understand it.

Cons

- Execs operate in a silo without understanding the technology or caring about employees -Response to negative Glassdoor reviews was for the CEO to write her own 5-star review including advice to herself to "continue doing what you are doing". You can find it under (Leadership in Denver, CO) before she pulls it down.

Don't bother here, company is a hot mess

Pros

The employees who do the real work (NOT upper management) are great. Super knowledgeable and willing to help out. That's the only pro.

Cons

The company only cares about new company acquisitions, not about their employees. Employees from acquired companies are eventually pushed out, happened to most of the employees from my acquired company. Lots of office politics here--if you aren't part of the upper management's private circle or a rockstar developer/salesperson, you don't matter here. They answer only to their investor, and employees are disposable. They talk a big game about employee happiness, but they honestly don't care. They offer benefits that aren't real--i.e., giving employees stock options that are null and void as soon as you leave the company. (Most companies honor their stock options and pay them out when you leave, this company keeps them so you lose any option $ when you leave.) You WILL be overworked--lots of hats to wear. Whatever your job is, you will have many more jobs assigned that you may not desire--for example, developers code, work tech support, write documentation, etc. Lots of cronyism here--new management brought in all their friends, if you aren't part of their circle, watch your back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience working at Apryse. We appreciate all positive and constructive feedback, as it helps us improve as an organization. We are happy to hear you found our employees knowledgeable and supportive, as they play a crucial role in our company's success. I am saddened to hear that you feel there is a lack of commitment to our employees, as every individual, whether their employment originated at Apryse or has joined us through acquisition, should be valued and treated the same. Your statement that only individuals in upper management or exceptional performers receive recognition is concerning, as one of our primary goals is to cultivate a culture of meritocracy and equal opportunity. We believe in providing growth opportunities for all our employees and are committed to enhancing our communication style to ensure a transparent environment. We appreciate your feedback and take your concerns seriously. We encourage you to contact our People and Culture department as we have a completely open door policy and would like for you to provide more details or talk about your experience in more depth. We are committed to improving our processes and providing our employees with a safe and positive workplace. Sincerely, Rachelle Carpenter Chief People Officer
