Growing pains

Pros

great teamwork among individual contributors

Cons

This company is still in the process of adopting a new corporate style with levels of hierarchy, and while there are many positive impacts, I have noticed some challenges. Specifically, there seems to be a lack of communication between leadership and individual contributors (ICs), which can lead to confusion and delays. Additionally, the use of a waterfall style of direction-giving can also contribute to confusion, particularly when it comes to decision-making at the IC level. Despite these challenges, I believe that with time and continued efforts to improve communication and streamline processes, we can effectively navigate and overcome these issues.

One of the worst

Pros

Not much for positives. They have money so probably won’t shut down anytime soon.

Cons

It’s like a movie about the evil corporate take over and the narcissistic big wigs that treat staff like garbage and the worst people get promoted while slapping each other on the back exclaiming “yo! Bro!”. Only the ending where the bad guys get ousted never happens and you feel like you must be on candid camera because you can’t believe this many adults behave this badly.

Run far and fast from this toxic place

Pros

Seemingly stable market, and not much else

Cons

Very toxic. It’s become the worst of the stereotypical corporate america, work you to death, but smile and tell the world that they care about their employees, dystopian nightmare. These positive reviews are solicited, and generally written by people new to the company, and/or with little to no other work experience to know what’s appropriate and what’s not. They promote horrible people into leadership roles that have no actual management capabilities, if they were even moderately successful at the prior level role. They end up managing through bullying. I have mo reason to exaggerate here - it benefits me not. So trust me when I tell you, unless you’re a jerk, you do not want to work here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that this was your experience, and we take feedback like this seriously. Creating a workplace where employees feel supported and valued is important to us, and while we may not always get everything right, we are continuously working to improve. We’re always looking for ways to foster a positive and collaborative environment, and we appreciate hearing from former employees. If you’d be open to sharing more, we welcome the opportunity to listen and learn. Constructive feedback helps us grow, and we’re committed to making Apryse a great place to work for everyone. We genuinely value all feedback and approach each comment with care and intention. My goal in responding is to encourage meaningful, open conversations—not just to go through the motions.
