Pros

- This is a rapidly expanding company, so there are tons of new job opportunities popping up all the time and possibilities of taking on new responsibilities within your existing role. - Another positive note on growth: PDFTron purchased three companies last year (I was actually hired by one of the subsidiaries), and although a lot of us were initially worried about job security with the merger, PDFTron has proved to open up a lot more opportunities for career progression. - Leadership cares about your happiness and tries to make work life more exciting. The company hosts bi-weekly lunches, monthly socials, and weekly "Work From Home" challenges with gift cards or winners. - I can't speak for everyone on the leadership team, but in the marketing dept., the CMO is one of the most genuine and caring bosses I've ever had. He doesn't just want you to succeed in your role, but he wants you to thrive and work on things that you're passionate about. This is something that's hugely important to me! - You can flex your hours. Some people like to start early in the morning, others are late risers. As long as you put in your time and get your work done, leadership is super understanding. - We're working from home primarily, but those who need to go into the office are still able to do so. Again, flexibility! - People in this company are very involved. You'll have people from every department and level of authority that want to provide feedback on every other element of the company (e.g. developers providing their opinions on sales processes or design elements on the website). This can be both a blessing and a curse at times.

Cons

- Because we're growing so quickly, change is constant! There will surely be some growing pains that come along with that. In order to succeed here, you need to be able to adapt and overcome. - Along with rapidly expanding, a lot of the new roles created (in marketing, at least) have been filled with outside hires, as opposed to promoting from within. While I have a feeling this is only temporary while we're building up our team, I do hope to see more of my teammates being promoted to strategic and leadership roles in the future!

Awesome place to grow

Pros

- great culture, technically sound people from top to bottom, no micromanagement, weekly pair programming etc - work/life balance is very reasonable - pay, benefits, hardware are on point

Cons

- Remote on-boarding was a little painful (this is probably a result of fast growth) - if you need daily instructions on what to do, you may get lost easily - you are expected to work independently
