Pros

This company stands behind its products, services and overall mission statement. Employees are treated as family members versus just a number. For those willing to work hard, at the right times, you have the opportunity to make an incredible income. Full benefits, pension, disability and an ownership family that cares about its people. Recognize talent early and foster an environment of personal growth. Superb products and services with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Cons

There are too many leads and not enough talented sales people to work them. Also, due to the nature of the business people shy away from starting with Arbor. A modernized training system would be extremely helpful in attracting and keeping new talent, i.e. Interactive training programs with pictures, video and audio to help channel different learning styles. The days of reading scripts until one becomes a robot are ending. Our sales people need more hands on engaging training and sales managers do not have the time or the tools to do this properly.

Pros

caring employees, good offering to consumer

Cons

Self-serving management with no respect for anyone's time or efforts; dollars only matter nothing else .Modern- day slave masters that abuse and take advantage of commissioned sales staff and treat them like salaried employees by downloading administrative work on them as they cut back on paid office staff. Cronyism and old boys club run rampant, with a 70's approach to selling and no real marketing plans or lead generation. A name, any name is a lead. Sales staff are encouraged to be deceptive and manipulative to present and close sales at any cost. The only service to consumers is lip-service when they complain, or will get service if there is potential to sell more.... and there always is. Sales people are expected to work for free on service days in exchange for potential sales or leads, attend too many meetings, trade shows, and dedicated phone-calling times, as well as networking and going on presentations/appointments. If you want Work-life balance, respect, and a decent income; go elsewhere.

Pros

Started out as a great company with great benefits for admin staff. Wage was great too

Cons

Admin staff completely undervalued when I left, took away bonuses for admin and gave more to sales staff. Company used to be about helping people, now they are all about money.
