Potential to do well. Just like you have the potential to win the lottery
Pros
Great people for the most part. Fair commission structure. If you have a pulse, they will probably hire you.
Cons
Lots of lead generating activities in the beginning of employment such as trade shows. This seems to only happen when they have new hires, to get them excited. Then you are left to re-work old recycled leads that have already worked unsuccessfully. You are expected to find your own leads or troll through files looking for old clients who might buy something else. You are expected to sell overpriced goods and services to frightened seniors. You are expected them to sign them up for payment terms on cemetery at close to 10% interest rates. If they don't, they are selfish for "burdening" their families. Training was a joke. As a previous former employee said, you are shuffled around and there isn't a lot of structure. You will be regailed with stories about how much "so and so" made last year and how you can make sooo much money. You could also get struck by lightening or win the lottery, so you never know I guess.
