Pros

Employee benefits, insurance, flexibility, leave policy

Cons

This place is full of hypocrisy where they supposedly want to make it a great place to work for women but they actually harass you. They don’t like women who are smart, ambitious and express themselves. They will mentally harass such people. Their entire leadership along with their HR team is threatened by such people. I had the most harrowing experience here and still dealing with this trauma. They operate extremely unethically and distastefully.

Pros

Overall company 1. Regular perks, great benefits 2. Worklife balance 3. Good salary compensation 4. Good scope to learn financial products

Cons

Cons in overall company: Nothing that significant to be mentioned here Cons working in few teams(would not name here): 1. No work-life balance, no recognization for hard work 2. Frequent on-call (heavy workload during on-call) 3. Effort of 10hr per day including weekends is required to be qualified as an average rating. 4. Employees are treated as expendables Advice: If you join (or before you join), check your team review from other folks working in different teams. If you fall into one of the few teams then better don't join or change the team or leave.

Pros

1. Company is struggling under technical debt from DE Shaw but technical management is now keen to let go of that and work toward latest technology and solutions. 2. Great non-monetary benefits.

Cons

1. High profile clients who put in a lot of money leading to a lot operations and maintenance. You have to wake up dead in the night, often for the entire week if your application is facing issues. 2. Team management is bogged down by logistical issues which makes it difficult for them to improve their processes to make things easy for developers. 3. Huge technical debt. This is leading to fragile applications which people are afraid to touch/change. 4. Adding new features to decades old code is given priority instead of improving things from the ground up. 5. Your manager will often turn a deaf ear to your problems because they are themselves helpless. 6. New York folks need to get off THEIR HIGH HORSE and stop taking India staff for granted. There is a weird asymmetry between teams in terms of their geographical spread. Some teams are present in India and NY which make it easier for them to cover on-call 24*7. Majority of the teams are based out of India only which leads to India folks destroying their sleep over even minor issues propping up. 7. The upper management gets super excited even at the mere prospect of a new client and starts to give out new work to onboard the new client which very often leaves and leads to wastage of person hours.
