Good perks , still have the hint of parent company (D E Shaw). Work life balance is good in few teams.

Cons

Work is average and boring. More operation work than development. Typical Service company work hours. Team politics exists. Not fully software company yet

Group Politics (Popular people getting relatively smoother allocation ~ so that they can complete and log off easily) 3. No meritocracy- They don’t care how smart or how quickly you learn or improvise your efficiency, you will raise through rank ONLY based on your experience.
