      Shady company. Avoid at all cost.

      Pros

      The employees I worked with were great. We were all in the same boat and tried to do our best work under shady, dishonest owners. Other than that, there are no pros.

      Cons

      I found out on the first day of the job that it was the last day of the tech helpdesk lead (the person who interviewed me) and that I would be replacing them. The owners kept this information from me during my interview. They made my job title on the spot. That should give you an idea of their management and operations.

For example , we have an annual awards ceremony that rewards top performers for the year on all our projects and some corporate level rewards for organizational work. Besides this, Arch also rewards special employee acheivements throughout the year by means of merit bonuses. In 2015, our CEO received the SmartCEO’s Brava Award. Some of the highlights of the award recognition include “Arch Systems has grown significantly throughout the years, both in the number of employees and the value of contracts. From 2012 to 2014 alone, Arch Systems grew from six to 40 employees, thanks in large part to the opening of the company’s HUBZone location and winning two prime contracts. In the last three years, the company has tripled its growth, and has continued to win a number of prestigious and financially rewarding contracts each year.”

      Worst company I have ever imagined working for

      Some co-workers are kind and hard working.

      Cons

      An absolutely toxic work environment. After hire, I literally worked around the clock several days in a row for weeks at a time, then would be belittled by the CEO for working too much. I don't care to brag, but I have built a career in which I am recognized as a top producer; I work hard, smart, and well. Criticisms were of the screaming variety, with no specifics. In addition to being almost completely irrational, the CEO intentionally creates situations that pit one employee against another. When large contracts are won, there is no praise, but if she imagines that something isn't right (regardless of what the client says), she loses it like an adolescent child. As for the positive reviews, note the similar content and style. When she catches on, she will assign the writing of such reviews to others, regardless of their position. I had to take the time to write this, in case it saves even one person from this awful situation.

      Great Organization for Growth & Development

      An amazing opportunity for candidates with proposal management experience, or for students looking to gain experience in federal contracting & business development within the IT industry.

      Cons

      At times the fast paced environment can seem a little intimidating. However the experiences gained in meeting deadlines, working within a set project schedule, were challenges worth overcoming.
