      Pros

      The culture is great and collaborative. I also appreciate that they have taken the time to make sure I am properly trained for my role before sending me out on my own. My co workers are friendly and helpful. The pay and benefits are highly competitive and the hours are more than reasonable.

      Cons

      Systems are a bit tough to use until you get used to them.

      Flexibility, work from home schedule.

      This was a very strange place to work. The Chicago office sits virtually empty and separates the executives to a separate side of the office was, which makes it very siloed. When I was there, the company was in the process of being bought out by Brookfield so literally every conversation was put on hold, raises were not really given, just a huge holding pattern of waiting for the buyout to finalize. Many people left in 2023 including an entire division of the insurance company. Management is awful. Most people I worked with were rude and condescending on a daily basis.

      Thank you for the feedback. An acquisition was recently completed, and following the close of that transaction, the new leadership team has been very engaged with employees – visiting all offices and all employees personally, leading listening sessions and responding to the feedback. We’re also pleased to share that we recently moved into new offices in Chicago, which are designed to cultivate collaboration.
