Pros

office in Prime location

Cons

Bad Management Not much career opportunities They don't work on latest technologies. Most of the people in management (engineering) are not from software background. So they are clueless about how to run software projects.

Pros

I don't think there are any pro's besides the fact that it is located near a starbucks and applebee's. Its also pretty close to the highway so there's that. It does have a small gym but that really about it. If you land on the second floor then you got it made...free lunch....free drinks....no dress code...great ambiance and overall good moral.

Cons

There are 2 - 3 VP's, 1 director, 2 managers per department and the departments have 3 employees so you have 6 people telling 3 actual workers what to do (i'm only slightly exaggerating here). I've actually been approached by my supervisor and manager to do and not do the same task in the same day. Oh and that's because they try to manage you from across the globe (AUS). To give you an example our finance department went from 28 people to 13 in less than 3 months it got that bad.

Pros

Okay remuneration (compensation and bonus) and benefits package. Competitive in terms of compensation with matching 401k benefits. You are encouraged to manage your work and be able to perform at your full potential.

Cons

Professional growth and advancement for employees is very slow. Appears like there is very little area to move into another position in the software side as jobs are being outsourced to India or other countries which causes low employee morale. Some departments have very high turn overs which making thing worst as new personnel comes in and attempts to perform the job. No proper management and discipline of under performing employees and no apparent system to reward employees that are top performing, most are based as a team which goes back to under performing are not being managed and disciplined and causes the team to fail from achieving the goal and thus no recognition or rewards,
