Nepotism and cronyism run rampant. Middle management is clueless and will actively try to derail your career. Would not recommend working here.

Pros

There is a sense of competitiveness that drives this department. The hours are 8AM-9PM M-F and 8AM-5:30PM on Saturdays. Every Sunday you have off, but may work an evening or a Saturday. It is a small department so if someone is off, it is hard to get vacation approved.

Cons

It is a very demanding job. You are expected to give 110% day in and day out. Sometimes when it is busy, you do not have that much to give. The supervisors are understanding of busy times but work still needs done.
