- Generally take care of employees - Secure Employment - Great benefits - Good (not great) pay - Good people to work with

Cons

- Federal government bureaucracy - At times a good old boy network (this is getting better) - Very defined/military organization structure - Very difficult to get rid of deadwood (worthless employees)

Pros

Most people were friendly a fairly easy to get along with. Being part of something bigger than yourself is fulfilling. Public recognizes our commitment.

Cons

Leadership is horrible - good ole network is in full effect. They have systems in place like review boards where they can get rid of individuals they do not like without telling the person why they are being let go or the person having a chance to appeal.
