      Pros

      Interesting and useful products. 100% remote which is nice.

      Cons

      The company tried hiring a private driver for our CEO earlier this year. It was on our website for about a week until they took it down. They posted it while we get paid below market rate and have never had an offsite. Until now…. We have our first offsite this year after being in business for over five years. Vegas? Miami? NYC? No. Memphis. Ugh. NO ONE wants to go to but a lot of people feel pressure because there is so much talk about it. Nashville would have been cool, but why make your employees happy?

      Pros

      As long as you have a supportive and capable manager, you should be in good shape.

      Cons

      If your manager lacks experience, focuses only on short-term goals, and you don’t have a strong relationship with them, there’s a good chance you won’t last long—people often get let go within a few months.

      Good work, good benefits

      Pros

      The work is very interesting. The processes are good using Scrum, and the company strives to provide sufficient lead time for projects. Communication is good, and transparency is evident at all levels. There is plenty of opportunity to interact with other engineers, including the principal engineers. It's also hard to beat fully remote.

      Cons

      There is a decent amount of tech debt that needs to be addressed.
