      You Pay for Management's Poor Choices

      It's Remote and you get a cool laptop

      Cons

      - They overhired so they laid off teams as soon as the product they were developing were done. - Little to no guidance - Managers are paid the same as SWE's - Don't believe me? Look at how many sales they hired versus the amount of engineers laid off, it's around the same rate/time.

      Pros

      Some of the people were helpful and friendly. Remote is nice.

      Cons

      Worked under a different manager than I interviewed with. Did different work than was hired for, not even matching job description or responsibilities. Let go without indication of error or poor performance and not given the real reason why. Lack of organization and expectations. Constantly asked to check in w/ management when seeking help elsewhere then assaulted for "bothering" them and not asking others first.
