Pros

Free black coffee and gym with potential to build your sales resume with relationship building skills. Can have a great payout if you decide to grind for 50+ hours a week, won’t see your first commission check for the first 6 months or so of working there, you’ll get paid $14/hr for that time period.

Cons

You’re a revolving door of phone calls for the first 6 months of being there (100+ outbounds / day). Get a one hour lunch but will be looked down upon for actually using it. It’s a frat house running a fancy call center…. With a coffee shop in the center.

Pros

Frat Culture, so profanity, drinks after 4 and boisterous banter welcome.

Cons

Literally all the pros are also the cons.

Pros

I met one of my good friends here so at least they hire some cool people.

Cons

I feel a bit immature writing such a negative review about a former employer. But, if it saves at least one person from going to this company, it's worth it. I accepted my offer back in January while I was just finishing up college. I was a very qualified candidate and should have weighed out my options. I saw the promise of hard work paying off financially and I bit, as do plenty of other recent graduates looking to move to Chicago. The reality of Arrive Logistics is that it's a machine. You're not special by any means here. You're simply another cog in the logistics engine. Anyone that can pick up a phone and dial will get a job here and will be slave driven into doing it until you're more beaten down than ever. You will work 10 hours a day without a lunch break. You will get some bad looks if you go to the bathroom one too many times. You'll be paid minimum wage for months on end. If you don't live in Chicago, you won't be able to visit your family for Christmas because you'll be working. If you're willing enough to somehow make it through all this for 8 months, you then will reap the benefits. Oh not to mention there's no internal growth. If you're a somewhat qualified candidate such as me, don't waste your time. Go to an opportunity that cares about you, doesn't exploit you, pays better, and lets you have a life outside of the office.
