Pros

Base salary is competitive with any FAANG. Some intelligent, driven, people hear if you can find them. Work life balance is really good. I’d venture that almost everyone in engineering is working less than 50 hours per week.

Cons

Go to market strategy has been all over the place. Little conviction. Leaders do not trust their teams to get work done independently. You will be micromanaged by your director and above. No appetite for risk. I was hopeful bc of all the high reviews here and on blind, but it’s very demotivating place to work. For a company trying to “empower the world’s teams to work together effortlessly”, it is incredibly hard to get anything done here. The tech stack is a liability because the documentation and training is so hard to grok. Lots of middle management than doesn’t really add any value. They get in the way more than they help.

Pros

- leadership puts a lot of thought into how to support its employees - folks tend to think things through, create solid systems (both technically and process-wise) - strong product vision and investment in product development - one of the leaders in the work management space, with a huge market opportunity - mission-driven; has a strong set of company values that folks reference and live by - execs are very smart and fairly transparent and seem to actually care about employees and the mission

Cons

- folks can be overly diligent at times; not everything needs a process or a survey or a 3-page document - product vision is very ambitious but there's a lot of basic-ish functionality that is still surprisingly absent (most of it is planned tho) - stock price took even more of a hit than many other SaaS companies during 2022 downturn (to be clear, I think it will come back up - I put "neutral" for 6-month business outlook but I think the long-term outlook is very positive)
