Bad New Leadership

Pros

Was great organization. Great residents. Some great associates here but they are not happy and some afraid of their jobs.

Cons

New leadership led by new female is really bad. Terminate or good associates are leaving or planning to leave. Female leader and directors here hire white friends and don't care for lower level associates. They are NOT trustworthy and they are not qualified. Not sure why some are hired.

Pros

I enjoy working at Springhill! I love working in Activities, and as an in-house Music Therapist, I get the chance to provide opportunities for music as well as activities such as BINGO for the residents. There are many days when I feel grateful to spend time with the residents on a personal level. They bring out the best in me! There are many hard-working and dedicated staff at Springhill too, and I feel like I belong. I am happy and fulfilled.

Cons

There is a need for more staff members at Springhill. I work to help out with passing meal trays and do other jobs that take away from time I could spend doing more individual music therapy and Activities-related events, so if you are looking for a job as a CNA or other position in the medical field, I encourage you to consider Springhill (Asbury Communities).

Thank you for your review and for sharing why you love working at Springhill! We are so glad to hear about your sense of belonging and the special bond that is often formed between associates and residents. While we have not been immune to the nationwide healthcare staffing challenges, we greatly appreciate how you and your colleagues have gone above and beyond to ensure that the residents we serve continue to receive outstanding care.
