We do not discriminate against employees on the basis of their own illness or the illness of their family members, and, as a result, would not ever terminate someone’s employment on these bases. We do terminate employment if there are repeated safety violations or performance issues, and only after we have exhausted all available corrective actions.       Employee turnover problem

      Pros

      Used to be a great company back when plants were owned and operated by Monsanto. Ascend looked and acted with great promise from 2009 thru 2011 then went downhill rapidly.

      Cons

      Very high employee turnover esp among engineers. Most new hires quit for greener pastures after less than 3 years. Ascend promises bonuses but does not deliver them to the masses who produce the results in manufacturing front line. Company promotes equipment reliability but does not fund it adequately.
