Shift employees are great, close drive from home

Cons

Management has destroyed this place, safety is no longer a priority, company refuses to spend money to fix the equipment. AN2/3 has had more leaks from failing pipe and equipment in the last year than in the history of the unit. People leaving faster than they can hire.

Great people at the hourly level.

Cons

Saw it coming. They started getting rid of good people over the last 5-10 years in management and brought in people that are clueless. Now they are closing our site that has been in operation for 60 years. While most people are losing their jobs they are keeping and even promoting the main one who caused this to begin with.

nothing really, unless you count coffee mug and t-shirts pros

This place is really bad place to work because of two reasons. 1. Houston office thinks everyone in plant is slave labor in a seat shop and pays them less 2. The leadership disproportionately favors people from their circle (Celanese Chemicals). If you are a bright chemical engineer, this is not a place for you
