Inexperienced industry leadership. From the top down, these individuals are very set on achieving unrealistic goals, and they slash corporate bonuses when these goals are not met. In addition to their unrealistic goals, they are completely out of touch with their reports, and the organization structure of the company promotes an attitude of zero accountability, which exacerbates the adversity towards continuous improvement.

Private equity pulls all profits from the top, sets larger and larger goals year after year so they don't have to pay out bonuses as those goals are never met. Practically all middle and upper management has been replaced, so now they do not trust the employees who have been there for decades, constantly second guessing their every decision, micromanaging every project and trying force feed the A2E cult down every ones throats. It feels like it's all about accountability, so they can scapegoat those who don't march in lockstep.
