Pros

I've seen Ascend's culture improve tremendously over the past few years. It's nice to be in a place that is investing with a long-term view of the business.

Cons

We still have a ways to go. The company is "new" but the plants have been around for decades.

- Strong communication flow from the Leadership. - Welcoming & collaborative environment. - Ascend Cares Program - comprises of employees performing exceptional charitable and volunteer services throughout the communities around the organization. - Strong company values that the allows employee to be fully engaged with. - Career development and growth opportunities for employees in all fields. - Competitive salaries, benefits and vacation policies.

Cons

- Cannot rollover vacation year to year. Although vacation amount is generous, if you don't take your vacation in the calendar year. Your vacation resets in January.
