      Pros

      Independence. Rewarding work. Great PTO. Flexible work hours. Work from home. Good if you're starting out in financial services.

      Cons

      No upward mobility. Contract based position. Mediocrity - over emphasis on process instead of outcomes. Favoritism. Unfair management practices with HR support. No minorities or women in higher positions. Rebranding with "Core Values" is a mask for the real issues.

      Pros

      Fun, friendly smart people to work with. Learned a lot about retirement plans and computer programs like Excel and Word.

      Cons

      Boring work, management sleeping around creating uncomfortable situations. Inappropriate IM's from management, poor raises, having to pick up the slack from co-workers having a social fest all day. Departments tend to treat other departments as rival companies by not sharing information that would help others.

      Pros

      It is a job with a bi-weekly paycheck which is better than no paycheck.

      Cons

      There is very little growth, so there are not many career opportunities. Employees are not encouraged to speak the truth, and management is insecure.
