Solid company to work for

Pros

Assetmark has a culture that I align with. It’s fairly laid back and has a lot of great people. I also enjoy the work I do and the impact I feel I make at the company.

Cons

It’s been noticed that in many cases middle management isn’t effective. Many have noticed that not enough impact is being made in that area and we need more of a player/coach style rather than just a coach. Especially when our employee size is on the smaller end. Our compensation also feels below market average for our positions. I feel we should revisit this is we want to remain competitive in the industry and retain great employees.

Pros

Pretty good training, managers were nice, good resources to use in the job.

Cons

Busy season is back to back calls all day. Very draining and not much assistance on complex calls.
