Pros

Colleagues are supportive, Monday through Friday schedule

Cons

High attrition, You can throw Customer service out the door, to actually meet metrics a CSR's main task is to get the caller off the line and close the "case" or tell the caller someone will call them back (lol). Every-changing schedules. poor mgt, unsupportive mgt. Mgrs Give "special, project that are low-IQ projects" to their favorite people, while leaving high in-coming call volumes to others to take call after call. This is the real life of the call center. Adherence is measured in seconds (so majority of CSRs are on "PIP" - Personal Improvement Plan of which imprisons CSRs from being able to transfer out. So if you're not on PIP, there is a transfer Freeze (Hotel California) once you're in this dept, you cant get out unless you quit (high attrition).

Pros

Use great programs like C3 and TownSq

Cons

CAMs can't do their job because the people you rely on aren't able to do theirs. Whether it's because they are overworked or don't know how doesn't matter. You're facing the board and the owners and they don't care if the people in Texas don't get the job done. Managers here are also expected to be part-time inspectors, take pictures for real estate sales, and be admins/assistants and customer service reps. It's too much.

Pros

The properties with I worked at were very nice and the residents were also very pleasant. The pay was average and my boss at the first property I worked at was very good at what he did and taught me a lot of different maintenance options.

Cons

The HR management at Associa left a ton to be desired. I feel like I was let go because I complained about some structural failures in the under the building parking lot. Example would be corroding rebar in overhead beams causing the structural concrete beams to crack and pieces falling off. Plastic tubs were hung be wire to "catch" the pieces falling off. This was a very expensive condo complex in downtown St. Petersburg whereas a Farrari was parked under the plastic tub! This was 2 years before the Surfside Condo collapse.
