      Pros

      You'll meet a diverse group of people. You won't lack for hours. It's work experience. You'll grow a tough skin.

      Cons

      Essentially on-call for the odd project that needs to be addressed ASAP. Mistakes will generally cost you the job, as HOA/Board members are nitpicky.

      Pros

      They hired the most qualified applicants. They utilized every resource so that you can work smarter not harder. They were fair with wages. My co-workers were wonderful. They had company functions/luncheons so that all the departments could come together as one. I appreciated that.

      Cons

      I assumed you couldn't speak to the owner even if you wanted to. It appeared that there was someone he spoke with that spoke to someone else who spoke to someone else who then spoke to the management and the management spoke to the employee. No room for growth position wise and it did seem like you were kept in the dark on decisions that had an impact on your department.
