Where do I start? Associa takes over existing property management companies. Instead of improving their operations, they just add a crapload of corporate red tape. Most of the reviews here are hilarious. These people have set there standards so low - you deserve better. The corporate things you deal with: meetings, reports, useless trainings by someone's spouse (yes, from corporate) are a joke - you would just have to work for a good property management company to know it. Most of the people in my office were on medication and nearing a nervous breakdown. The contracts were all underbid and the work was over-promised. As a manager, you had more work than you could possible complete. The office isn't even sure they have all of the keys to the properties they manage. Management complained that an average property manager salary was too high justifying this by saying another employee in another city was making in the low $30,000s and managing 12 properties. That is absolute proof they don't care about their employees. Oh, and the comments about having "good" benefits are especially hilarious. They may be good if you are single, but you can add your family to the tune of over $1,000 per month for a lower plan. They are also misers on your vacation days and time off. You will have so much red tape to get even a cent on your gas mileage that your head will be spinning.
Please, Please... if you are considering a position don't waste your time. Especially if you're anywhere in Colorado. Even if you aren't in Colorado, the corporate B.S. and all the red tape are going to make you want to throw up every day you clock in.
