Pros

Some of the people, especially the old-timers.

Cons

Senior leadership is money and power hungry and the customer is no longer the focus. They have destroyed the culture and focus on community, and turned it into any other "big bank" that puts profits before people. And they treat their employees like cogs that are just supposed to do what they are told.

Pros

Other than direct colleagues, there are none.

Cons

Power & Utilities leadership team are unqualified and unfit to lead the team. Simply a syndication / loan purchasing shop that copies down CIMs. I would avoid at any cost. There are no opportunities for growth unless someone steps down. Forced to open Associated Bank account so you can have a direct deposit (this is to bump their deposit base), otherwise your check is mailed. Underwriting and other bank systems used are ancient and often times no longer supported by the developers, glitchy and difficult to work with. Management is not open to progress or changes. Benefit are below average and expensive.

Nonstop meetings

Pros

Comp, PTO, benefits were good.

Cons

I spent 6-7 hours a day in meetings. Most of which were not productive for time and audience. There was little critical thinking about the number of meetings or the duration.
