Pros
I have worked for Associated for over 15 years. I started out as a Teller and have worked my way into management. The colleagues are great, the committment to our community strong and I love that we are always looking to do what is right, by our customers and our colleagues. I've stayed at Associated because there is always a positive challenge and opportunity to learn and grow. Associated paid for my Masters degree and continues to focus on colleague development. Benefits are great and comprehensive (domestic partner, adoption assistance)!
Cons
Change is constant and you need to be flexible, creative and transparent . Environment can be stressful given all the change. This change leads to confusion at times and lack of clarity on direction and goals. Someone who is not agile wouldn't like it here. Communication tends to vary, good from the top but inconsistent at the manager level. Like all companies, Associated has had bad and good times.Benefits are pricey.
