Pros
Good benefits/pay for security work
Cons
The management team for physical security seemed to be completely unorganized and unaware of what was going on and of personnel. They offered essentially no training, did not provide me with a way to access security procedures for the entire duration of my working there, and despite my multiple, numerous requests to several managers, I was never able to access the site which contained all necessary info for security! I had no way of knowing procedures, no real training aside from basic online courses that everyone in the company must take, and was in constant fear of talking to supervisors given that the only interaction they seemed to be interested in was reprimanding. The only time you will ever hear from them is when you mess up, and they will be sure to let you know. Additionally, "correctional actions" consisted largely of them humiliating you in a group call and offering no real advice nor listening to your complaints/requests/necessities you need to complete your work. I even brought up that the supervisor who had quit shortly after I signed on hadn't trained me at all and that the replacement one had not either despite my asking for help, and was told that they would have a weekly over the phone training session. This did not happen once. The security position is also responsible for mail, which is fine. I handled it everyday except Monday, when another guard did. I was told by a supervisor that Monday was not my mail day. Lo and behold, I later received a call and humiliating "councelling" about why I wasn't doing mail on Mondays. When I explained, I was simply told "I think Monday is everybody's mail day." Whatever that means.
