Pros

You start at 16+, 17 if bilingual Meet great people Lots of overtime Lots of flexibility in slow time

Cons

Favoritism, upper management constantly lies. Supervisor are hit or miss, some are great and some are clueless. Seen a whole team quit on a supervisor. Ever since they added shs it has become a nightmare. You gotta sale to people calling in mad about paying alot of money for service that is not working for them. Was told aslong as you offer you where ok but after 3 years of working for the company because customer that thought and left reviews about me doing a great job did not want to add 20 dollars to their bill you can get fired. Ever since shs, they went from a full building to people quitting in mass, new employees quitting after hitting the floors and firing people a dozen l+ at a time. They like to fire people before holidays, they just use them up then fire them before they can make some extra holiday pay money. Also upper management like to cover up alot of thing that are a bit illegal, from wrongful termination to sexual harassment cover ups. Its insane

Pros

Voluntary time off (only when call volume isn’t high) if you don’t work from home there really aren’t in any other pros. The only pro is if you work at home.

Cons

This job is cool for a few months. Constant change after that been working here two years and put in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. They now offer Smart Home Support to customer and guess who has to sell that, EMPLOYEES. Employees are paid to provide tech support and good customer service now they also want employees to sell their product with no pay increase. They tell you that you get $10 extra per sale but that’s only if you sell it and you still have to offer the product on every call on top of offering the tech coach app which is useless that they push down customers throats.

Pros

Call center had a lot of pros. NEVER SWITCH TO CHAT!

Cons

When I was working in the call center I loved my job. I got raises often and was a great culture and environment. They offered a new work at home chat position, said you would be making more than you did on the phones. It was a pay per chat instead of the hour but I was hesitant because of this but, figured it is a great company. They wouldn't steer me wrong. There was no support once we went home. The systems we have crash constantly. We do not get paid for the times in meetings, coaching, and other non-chatting activities. Like we were promised. I have been locked out of one of my tools for 3 weeks. The main tool to do my job. The lack of volume has ruined my life. Because of this, I am more than likely going to be homeless next week. I have been trying to go back to the call center for months. No one replies to emails. You are pretty much left to fend for yourself once you start this position. It encourages people to take chats and then immediately close them or ignore customers so long they stop responding. So sadly, those with the worst customer service skills make the most money. Been looking for another job but I fear I put too much faith in this company. As a result. I don't know where i'm going to live in a few weeks and what's next for me.
