Pros

There's is nothing good to say about this company

Cons

At my time at this company I've seen some very abhorrent activities. If you search google for Asurion Employee Lawsuit, you will see quite a list. I recommend you research not the strengths, but the weaknesses of this company before you decide to accept any offers.

Pros

Many opportunities for bonus money! Without getting into specifics, Just by keeping your call metrics at goal, you'll make an extra 25% every month. Since there are sales opportunities, there are obviously incentives for the realistically set goals. Multiple reward programs, just for doing your job correctly. If you like overtime, this is a great position for you. There are openings practically every day. If you don't like to work a lot, after your first few months, you can get a lot of same-day time off (paid or unpaid) which works great since you're already at home!

Cons

You will only succeed here if you are a stat-driven, self-competitive person who can motivate yourself when you're alone. Working at home is tough if you've never had call center experience. It gets very stressful at times (when starting out) and not having anyone physically there to help my be scary for some. This is definitely not for someone who gets upset easily. The customers will make you hate yourself if you're not a confident person, and you have to be very driven and motivated to keep your stats in line (and your stats will probably be horrible for a while). That being said, everyone here wants everyone else to succeed, and all of your trainers, coaches, managers, and directors all want the best for you. If you put in hard work, you will succeed.

Pros

The only pro's of working for this company really were that the benefits weren't too bad. What you would expect from a large company for the most part. Tuition reimbursement.

Cons

I was in management for the legacy NewCorp work at home team. I wouldn't even know where to begin describing the incompetence of Asurion's senior management. You could nearly write a book on how not to run a company simply based off of their policies. Constantly changing review and coaching methods, unrealistic goals were set, and people were judged off of them inconsistently. Massive differences in pay between different accounts in the exact same reporting structure. When addressing that issue, it was done in a hamfisted way that only made turnover worse among the team. Pay is far below market, benefits get more expensive and less comprehensive every year. Working here is one of the most soul-draining experiences known to man, even worse than other terrible players in the call center industry. Almost no room for growth and advancement, will almost always pull in people from the outside and pass over worthy internal candidates. Work at home director is clueless, and since everyone is everyone's buddy, it persisted for a good part of a decade without much pressure for change. Core values are a joke. We are one team!! Yay!! Until you need something from the company. 1 way street makes the core value statements a running joke in the department.
