Pros

Friendly people to work with, downtown Nashville location

Cons

The management team in Global Indirect Procurement has no vision, no direction and no plans for how to build a professional procurement organization. They all act like they are short timers. They provide little or no leadership to a new organization. They are afraid to make changes because they have no vision and therefore cannot sell management on the direction they should take the organization. They are only concerned about the short term cost savings. They are not interested taking the organization to the next level that will provide opportunities for the staff to grow and develop. They only want the staff to drive short term savings. The company overall appears to be very short term focused, afraid their customers will learn the high level of profit they make and look to other companies to provide the services Asurion provides.

Pros

Very flat corporate culture - senior managers engage you and take your views seriously. Pretty good work-life balance, but you have to manage this yourself. Take ownership of your schedule and the bosses respect you and are happy not to have to do it themselves!

Cons

Very dependant on big client wins, so client changes can hit the company pretty hard, meaning jobs are shed. Social life is more or up to you, there is little support on that sense.

Pros

Helpful coworkers, the work life is pretty laid back and managers are helpful at times. Pay is not all what I would expect it to be, however overall this is a great place to work if your just joining the work force.

Cons

No enough training. Your pretty much after training is on your own in regards to taking a difficulty phone call unless your team leader is behind you. In addition, co workers can be helpful if they are not on a call. The benefits could be better as well.
