      Pros

      Good company spirit, promotion and focus on values that Atkore is thriving for. People are like-minded and working towards one common goal. Nice Kaizen events for process improvement activities.

      Cons

      Management is not always willing to listen to tips that are coming from lower hierarchy. Things like information and common-sense are severely segregated between regular employees (frontline people, customer service and entry level folks) and management/ upper management people. Sometimes people act like they don't have a clue. Spreadsheets are common practice within all departments, and there is no full centralized soft that could combine all database. Professionalism is not something you will find at every department.

      - The best part about working for Atkore is being part of a growth culture. If you're looking to build a career and not just land another job, then this might be the right place to plant your flag. - Very few companies can boast of being recession proof. Atkore is the closest thing to it, doubling in size during the recessionary covid era. - Actions speak louder than words. No Chief Diversity Officer, No ERGs- No Problem! I have worked at large multinationals and small start ups. Atkore's work environment is a safe place to bring your whole self to work where employees can flourish, where unique perspectives, ideas, and backgrounds are all welcomed and supported. Atkore is bold about its committment to DEI. - I was fortunate to be promoted after only 1 year in my role. You'll find the sky is the limit when you demonstrate initiative and a willingness to be stretched, follow through on committments, and live the company values.

      Cons

      Unprecedented growth comes with its challenges. The company is increasing investments in technology infrastructure e.g. salesforce, but the journey can be slow and bumpy. Need to hire the right expertise and accelerate these investments.
