Bad policies- for few projects 12 to 14 hours of work are considered normal Appraisal process is not transparent Low compensation as compared to industry standards

Pros

A plenty of work, good to learn on your own.

Cons

1. All senior people are biased and have formed a group of people who favor each other 2. Do not have respect to their subordinates 3. HR refers their own buddies to grab the referral amount. 4. Do care their own policies. 5. Do not keep their promises. 6. Common benefits are also given to selective people. 7. Rules are always broken by senior peoples. 8. False resumes are presented to client to grab the positions. 9. New policies are implemented on past dates. 10. Rude Managers 11 Many more....

Good company to start your career Great learning opportunities for a fresher Sometimes people get decent client side opportunities to work

Cons

Low salary, anti-employee HR policies, hence very high turnover Incompetent and discriminatory higher management Promotions, salary hikes, appraisal and other opportunities are very biased The only reason Syntel gets projects from major American companies is because of the very low billing rate Most of the projects are mainframe based
