work/life balance, opportunity to grow either within department or to transfer to another department within the organization
Cons
not very forward-thinking, many of the directors and above have been there 20+ years, so it's very political. Upper level executives are actually located in another building so are totally unaware of what's actually going on in the departments that they are responsible for. They often request reports or info in timeframes that are unreasonable, due to the fact that they don't understand what it takes to provide the information.
