      Terrible company run by incompetence

      Pros

      There Are Some very dedicated people who do care that work at CHS. They are extremely dedicated and good people.

      Cons

      This is a company run by greed and power, completely contradictory to the not for profit status they hide behind. Management is totally incompetent and will silence anyone challenging the status quo or their intelligence. There are silos which are impossible to breach. The finance groups are particularly dysfunctional.

      Pros

      Benefits, PTO packages were good. I was with the system over 10 years

      Cons

      Management was horrific! It amazed me how many managers there were for each department...Nurse Manager, Specialty Manager, Nurse Specialty Manager...give me a break! All you hear is, "across the system, we can only give a 1% raise this year!" No wonder, they are paying all these managers that sit around and do nothing and they need to distribute their money where it is deserved....to the hard working employees that give 110%! Wake up CHS!!!!

      The compensation package is good: health care, dental, tuition reimbursement, performance bonuses, retirement plan, 401k.

      Cons

      Management spends too much time talking about how to better manage the company and not enough time actually managing it.
