Pros

Fun, interactive and you obtain corporate experience. You also get to learn alot about marketing, public relations, media relations and technology. It also has lots of perks like concerts and etc. This is a great job for a college student, or someone just out of school.

Cons

Very cliquish environment, low-pay and bad hours. Everything in radio is automated and their is no need to pay people much to do a typical job there. The exploitation of interns is also humiliating as well.

Pros

Flexible schedule, great training, excellent facilities

Cons

Very cliquey. If you are new don't expect to be treated equally. Management helpful but usually too busy to really help. CRM system is horrible.

Pros

The work varies so you can be doing lots of different things than you were expecting out of that day. The work is also more enjoyable than others because it's fun and not typical of what you might find in a different office type atmosphere.

Cons

The pay is hard to mediate and can fluctuate. It seems hard to move up to something that pays well. To be fair the industry doesn't seem to pay much as a whole unless you are in the executive management level. There are a lot of layoffs too so it gets hard to completely focus on knowing there is another round of them coming and that how hard you work or how good you are doesn't factor in to that decision whatsoever and that it's just because of the company wanting to lower their bottom line.
