      Interesting Work, great work life balance, little leadership direction

      Pros

      I've had the opportunity to work on interesting problems which have helped me to grow, and have been able to be promoted internally once with a relatively clear path towards L6. Leadership also trusts those one the ground a lot too, so I've been able to provide a lot of direction to the team. HR spends a lot of time promoting certain political views and virtue signaling about diversity to a company which doesn't actually have any problems with welcoming a diverse staff on account of it's having a very diverse staff.

      Cons

      Senior product leadership lacks a clear vision, and communication between teams regarding priorities and estimates is very poor. Several times we've built features after objecting to product that users probably wouldn't need it and had TPMs reaching out every week regarding the status of the project only to learn afterwards that the intended internal users had no need of the feature.

      Pros

      Location is great for NJ locals. Pay is decent all things considered.

      Cons

      Culture used to be good but now it's degrading towards Amazon culture but without equivalent motivation. The senior leadership's lack of commitment to their AI technology forecast is concerning.
