Both my grade-level teammates and many other staff members were supportive during my time as a first grade teacher.

Cons

Schools are becoming very testing centered with less value placed on creative outlets or subjects outside of math/reading.

Pros

The people I work with are all doing their best with limited resources and a changing environment. I'm very happy with the culture in my office and you can't beat the time off.

Cons

The leadership decisions are not steady but a lot of that is because of how the school district is funded. Makes it hard to be consistent year to year.
