Pros

Flexible schedule, long breaks, nice coworkers

Cons

I had to drive to multiple different cities a day and was only compensated after I drove above 20 miles. Everything was at least 25 miles away so I’d only receive compensation for 5 of those miles. I don’t think I was trained well enough for this position either

Thank you for the time you spent working with our teams and providing support for our families. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your coworkers and the work-life balance here at ALP. ALP understands driving can be a tedious part of this job, but we make sure all of our Behavior Technicians are paid for their drive time as well as reimbursed for mileage. In fact, earlier this year we increased the mileage reimbursement to account for recent hike in gas prices! We put a lot of time and resources into our training. We want our employees to feel confident and prepared when going into their sessions. Thank you again for being a part of the ALP family.

I worked for company for 4 years and had great support from company with field training hours, the company values hands-on learning and supervisors worked close with me to learn with helping out with tasks related to managing client cases, in order to achieve the field hours training requirements. I had great support from supervisors and director The other technicians were great to work with, and did awesome 1:1 work with the kids, made genuine connections and closely followed the behavioral plans, they were awesome group of employees to work with!

Cons
