Pros

BCBA support, client progress, good training process

Cons

The families cancel a lot, and this changes the pay. The company does not offer guaranteed hours for full time employees. If you lose hours, you could lose your health insurance suddenly.

Thank you so much for supporting our families for over two years! We appreciate your dedication to the important role you played while you were with ALP and we appreciate your feedback now. We are sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t what you were expecting. We know the impact cancellations makes and we are actively piloting different programs. We are committed to finding a solution! In the meantime, we always encourage our employees to proactively communicate with their direct supervisor and client services so that makeup sessions can be scheduled, so that you can make up that time.

First of all, we want to say thank you so much for your time and commitment to serving our families! We believe deeply in the importance of training and developing our staff, so you all feel prepared to provide support to our families. We currently do a pay review of all positions at least once a year to ensure that we’re in line with industry benchmarks and we also try to provide flexibility with scheduling to accommodate our employees’ personal lives. But we so appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass it along to the appropriate individuals!

Pros

Flexible, great professional development, and collaborative

Cons

California centered. If you are not from California you upward mobility is possible but less likely. The company is based in Cali

Thank you so much for all of your years of service! We are extremely appreciative of your dedication to the families you’re providing support to. We truly thrive on career progression for all of our employees across the country. We encourage it in a variety of ways including tuition discounts for continued education, excellent mentorship programs, annual reviews, pay reviews twice a year for Behavior Technicians, and advancement opportunities. While we are proud to have started so many years ago in California, we are committed to the families and employees in all 17 states that we currently support. Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback and we encourage you to continue the conversation with either your direct supervisor or HR, as we want to ensure you continue to feel heard!
