The kids are great, parents will help you and you can call some supervisors to support you. The environment is very friendly, no toxicity working here.

Cons

The kids will behave abnormally (which is part of the job) and throw some ruthless tantrums. It's emotionally draining on some days. Some supervisors will not have time to support you and you need support in this position.

1. Feel a sense of accomplishment as you help client's build important skills that help them to acclimate to society. 2. Flexible schedule allows you to plan for days where you might have important personal matters to tend to with much greater ease. 3. Supportive staff with capable and experienced Supervisors to help you learn and improve as you proceed in your career.

Cons

1. The job will take you around withn about 25 miles of your immediate home address as you are assigned to clients at different locations. 2. First timers may be caught off guard by their first days in the ABA industry as they become used to the sometimes very aggressive or very disruptive behaviors of their clients. 3. Because Supervisors oversee multiple cases while also handling their own clients, they are limited in terms of how much time they can help you with your own clients.
