Pros

The experience, training, and mentorship make working with ALP amazing. There is room for advancement, which is great! Benefits are ok. Nothing too spectacular, but they are available for those who qualify.

Cons

Minimum wage for mandatory meetings and trainings if you are hourly. Difficulty getting full time hours. At risk of losing benefits if you do not have enough hours/clients, at no fault of your own. Working with scheduling is a headache. RTO and sick time are a pain to get approved, which is unfortunate since the employees work so hard and deserve time off to avoid inevitable burnout.

Pros

Great work culture. Collaborative, compassionate, positive, and receptive.

Cons

Very poor benefits, especially paid time off, which is especially important for burnout and secondary trauma. No 401(k) match. Not competitive with public sector jobs in the field.

Pros

Large company so possibility for more resources

Cons

Terrible data management system. Doing data tracking is on a terrible online platform. HORRIBLE. They issue monthly "productivity scores" where it doesn't take into account family cancellations or vacations. The main concern is whether sessions are made up - essentially money coming in for them. They pressure you to do make ups. They add a guise that it is for clients but it is because they make a lot of money per session yet you dont get nearly as much.
