Pros

-had some amazing coworkers who genuinely cared about me as a person and would check up on me and see if I need help with anything -unlike other companies, HR was accessible. They did not make you jump through hoops to reach them. -I learned a ton -the corp office has an awesome gym -corp events always offered foods that catered to dietary restrictions

Cons

-the workload was simply insurmountable which added a ton of stress. In addition, it was expected that I would regularly work after hours to get this work done. Not joking, I’ve never had a bigger workload in all my years of experience. It’s draining being bogged down constantly. -the pay is hilariously low. This is something I brought up on multiple occasions with market data and a list of my accomplishments and how I went over and above and nothing happens. -I was told I would receive an email exit interview and I never did which is funny because it just shows how little they want feedback -little things like having to pay for on-site parking… at work… like? -the work from home schedule is sub-par as compared to other companies -vacation time is okay but good luck getting it approved -401k match is lower than previous companies I’ve worked for but I’ve heard that it’s pretty standard (I think it was up to 4% match?) -on the social side of things and this one really drove me crazy, we had these town hall meetings where you can submit questions and they never pick the difficult questions but always like “why did you choose the motto ‘go be great?’” Like… answer the tough questions because I know I submitted good ones. On these lines, some of the execs are out of touch with how difficult it is to survive on low wages. It is something that was brought up in a town hall and the host literally said in response to rising costs of living “just don’t buy a house or refinance.” Okay, so what about rent then? Am I to just not pay the increase and hope I don’t get evicted? Should I stop buying gas or would you prefer I skip a meal? Grow up and start paying your employees what they’re worth. The year over year cost of living increase should be the BASE raise. -lastly, I want to add that working here wasn’t all terrible - I learned a ton but it’s difficult to care knowing you’re underpaid while not even asked to work after hours but just expected to.
