Pros

Discount on auto parts and thats the ONLY benefit. Was great during college.

Cons

Where do I start, because the list is endless. 1.) The "dress code" is actually a uniform, the uniform they require you to buy through them which can cost upwards of $100.00. I was threatened with demotion because my black tailored slacks looked "too casual" and was forced to buy the dickies black slacks they sell to employees. 2.) I was told I would be demoted if I wore my all black hat with a tiny white tag on the back because it violates "dress code". 3.) I was told I was "paid too much" for my position despite my 3 year tenure, and due to "being paid too much" I was promoted to assistant manager with only a 10 CENT raise. 4.) 6am mandatory meetings on my days off 5.) Could not be full time because I could not work closing shifts due to my kids. 6.) You have no Work/Life balance whatsoever, so goodbye to hanging out with friends and family. 7.) SEVERELY underpaid 8.) Part-Time employees are lucky to get more than 18 hours a week. 9.) To be paid a wage that you can live on, you need to be a commercial manager or a store manager at LEAST. 10.) District managers and Regional Managers are just upsale oriented 11.) Store managers will fire you if you cannot upsell useless products 12.) Commercial sales are on the same level as cold calling. 13.) Need at least 2 years with the company before you are even eligible for a promotion. 14.) NO commission 15.) Co-Workers often refuse to show up for work requiring you to work their shifts for no overtime pay. 16.) Store, Commercial, District, and Regional managers all get SUBSTANTIAL BONUSES off your hard work.

Pros

Great tools to get the job done, pay is decent and bonuses aren't unobtainable. Positive reinforcement is there when your doing a good job.

Cons

Upper management puts to much on the store level , and micromanage's the store level management to the level of harassment. Negative reinforcement is there when your not doing so well.
