Pros

Nothing at AutoZone is good, its a company that exploits part time help to improve its profit margins and share price, which by the way they rather buy their own company stock rather than create full time American jobs.

Cons

Believe it or not you have to know the AutoZone cheer. If you don't say the cheer you become a pirah...No I'm not kidding. You can actually hear people saying the cheer in their cubicles to themselves so management will view them as loyal. I'm not kidding, its really that bad...

Pros

It is what you make it honestly. If you like people you have plenty of customers to interact with and a lot of them become regulars where friendships can grow.

Cons

Very little pay for the responsibilities you are asked of especially the entry level managers. It seems like the only people making money are the store managers and up. Mandatory add on sales and conference calls where you are called out on not pushing products is fairly humiliating. If you are a part time worker your hours may be cut at any time and it is very spotty from week to week. The company will not back you at all they always take a customer's word over yours no matter how outlandish it is. I was offered jobs daily from customers in other companies and I turned many down because of promises of a set schedule and promotions that were never given to me. Loyalty and trust is a big thing for me and there is no loyalty or morale in this company. Moving on was the best decision I have ever made financially and being there for 6 years it was well overdue.
