-The amount of paperwork for a store manager is obscene
-Company wants you to work 50 hours a week but 30+ is management tasks, therefore you don't have time to grow the business.
-It is like pulling teeth to get any sort of recognition
-Upper management tells you to do one thing then changes their mind regularly.
-You need a really high volume store to be qualify to have an assistant manager.
-Constant threat of job loss
-They want employees to change batteries bulbs and wipers but provide no training on it..
-Training modules that are meaningless to veterans of the store that take up a lot of time on an already tight schedule
-They only want to hire part time to save on benefits.
-Points system for tardiness and absences that is horrible...(up until a few months ago you would get points even if you were hospitalized)
- At the end of each quarter the drasticly cut hours and spending to make stocks appear higher, but screws employees at a store level.
- "DRESS CODE" (which is an AutoZone uniform) that they don't participate in paying for at all
-No overtime available at all.. If you end up with it, you get yelled at.
-Store managers don't have any power to hire/fire/or do anything that is diverse from what autzozone says
