Pros

Scheduling flexibility is very nice (for part time work), Autozone really does have the best warranty system of any auto parts chain.

Cons

The 20% discount is pretty much a joke; the rewards card system (for customers only) is pretty much equal to our discount (if not better; our discount doesn't include oil, antifreeze, spark plugs, etc). KPI reports, checkout challenge, some WITTDTJR items are a joke (yet forced down your throat), phone shop surveys.

Pros

I enjoy working with automobiles very much, and AutoZone does an excellent job of fostering a great place to work. The environment is clean, and management is excellent.

Cons

The pay could be a bit higher, but nothing too drastic is necessary. Minor employee-employee relations problems were sometimes apparent.

Pros

20% discount on parts, good store manager, variety of customers/ entertainment, super flexible scheduling, not too much stress, excellent ASE training available

Cons

Poor pay, even worse benefits, dealing with people who don't know what kind of car they drive, having to upsell 50 different things in one transaction, goofy and antiquated computer system...
